Reservation was made for two small groups. Location is great – even walking from train station takes min 10. Staff is friendly and helpful, room are comfortable, no noise was observed from outside. In generally hotel meets expectations, comfortable beds, would be recommended for couples, solo travelers, and small groups. Bathroom was little small but acceptable.

Karen at the front desk is fantastic. We had an issue with our cell phone and she did her best to help resolve the issue. That was above and beyond. Karen is also a wealth of knowledge on Denmark and provided many recommendations on what to see in the area or on route to our next destination.
The hotel is also undergoing renovations on various parts or buildings and I think that will be welcome changes. The renovations did not impact our stay.
Very quiet stay and restful. Breakfast was great.
Would stay again.

Quiet, the room was clean and modern although I had to constantly watch my head in the attic. Coffee/tea making facilities, little shared kitchenette. Free parking and solid WIFI is always nice.

Odense is really clean, super charming and bicycle friendly.
Odense is really clean, super charming and bicycle friendly. Seems like every city corner is well taken care of. Modern buildings are very cool, too. H C Andersen's museum and the park being part of the whole composition is quite awesome! We spent two days walking around Odense, so I’d like to come back and explore what Fyn (the island) has to offer.

We were there for New Year and visited a restaurant called Værdsat. The 9 course menu, wines and semi-informal service were great.
We live just outside Odense and just needed a room to stay for the night due to Odense having atrocious public transport outside the city's postal codes and there being a "five wines" menu with the meal 8D.
Odense is a lovely town with lots of history, some of which is being (IMHO) vandalised by modern architecture, which some people will love. But it is a fairly sleepy town with only the HC Andersen attractions being of real note to outside visitors. But there is enough to do here for a weekend. Come in the summer though, as it can be a bit grey and grim in the cold season.
Parking can be a problem and overpriced shop leases (not enough competition and too much real estate in the hands of too few people who know each other) mean that the selection of shops is a bit limited with more empty leaseholds than I like to see.

The location was wonderful.
The location was wonderful. In my first series of comments regarding our hotel, I forgot to mention that there is no television in the rooms. For me, that was not a problem, but it might be for others.
Odense is a charming town with a very walkable downtown and easy parking.

As the native home to Hans Christian Andersen, the city is built strongly around him. But not exclusively, with other attractions including the downtown Sankt Cnud Church and the many surrounding parks. The entire neighborhood around Andersen's birthplace has been preserved in the 19th century Danish style. I found the cuisine was top-notch at Grønttorvet and Marcantonio

I came for the Han Christian Andersen museums but Odense is charming on its own. Very walkable, safe, clean and friendly. The HCA museum far exceeded my expectations; indescribably incredible. I appreciate Odense even more after visiting Copenhagen next. I didn’t research or do well with restaurants. I’m so glad I ended the stay with a visit to Egeskov Castle.
This is a truly lovely, cosy hotel - the room we were staying in was very nicely decorated. It was also very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
There is also an access to the back garden, which is really nice
The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of different products to choose from.
The hotel is very close to the city center and is located in a very picturesque residential area, which was very calm
It might seem a bit expensive at first glance but it is definitely worth it!
We have booked City House last minute because the original room we reserved in Odense had a technical issue and couldn’t host us.
Everything happen for a reason and actually we were so lucky!!! :)
We got an answer immediately from the host, the apartment was ready and clean.
The key left in the safety box and a park ticket is available if you come by car!
The house is nice and cozy and the area is very quiet.
In few minutes by walk you can reach the city center.
We lived in the top floor, with amazing view to the city center. Sitting on the balcony was so cozy - you really don’t want to leave! The bedroom was comfortable, kitchen fully equipped. We took breakfast and never regretted it- it was so tasty! The reception team was so so helpful and smiling!! The parking for the car was very cheap and convenient
The hotel's location is right in the city center. All important places are within walking distance. Check-in was smooth and without any problems. The hotel and rooms were clean. The rooms were spacious. There were 3 power outlets near each bed, which is sufficient for charging mobile devices. Breakfast was plentiful and good.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had and nothing was to much trouble for them. The room was very big and had a nice view. The overall experience of the hotel added to our stay in Odense and made us fall in love with the city. we will definitely be back as the hotel is in a superb location too.
Denmark's Lumby neighborhood of Odense living: Great quiet place in the suburb of Odense City Denmark with tree lined streets. Great home with a large lot and garden on the back and with a drive way kind of car parking (Free). Great host and they live in the same house and very helpful.
City centre b&b at a super price. Really friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. I was greeted by Jens who kindly carried my suitcase to my room, explained everything to me. Will definitely book again for my next trip to Odense!
Location is really good. You can go wherever you want to go in Odense
This hostel is located near by Odense central station, so it is really good for you to go back to in any city in Denmark.
I liked that we were staying in an authentic old thatched roof class Danish farmstead, out in the country but only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Odense. And the kind and respectful hosts.
It is a good option with very nice staff. However, I had ended up paying a premium as the hotel was almost booked out so considering what I paid and what I got, it is hard to be satisfied.
I did not want a hotel in the city so I choose this one, location was good.
I booked the room only 10 minutes before arriving so the check-in was really smooth for such short notice.
Very convenient location: close to the train station and the city. The room was spacious for a three star place. Breakfast was included and there was something for everyone.
The location is nice and quiet. Yet you are still within walking distance from the Odense city centre. The room was relatively small but very functional and clean.
