They gave apricots from the tree at the hotel & free delicious cake too baked fresh by a lady there! great hospitality as the owner took me to port to drop me off after my stay (I didn’t realise I could have gotten picked up too at the port on arrival but I didn’t see the msg lol) . great views and also close to shops and bars restaurants!

The simply furnished rooms at the Avra Pension have panoramic views over the Aegean Sea from their private balcony. They are air-conditioned and include an LCD TV and a fridge. Slippers and a hairdryer can be found in the private bathroom. Such a lovely place to stay in Ios. It's only 5 minutes walking from the port. The owner is such a kind and nice lady! She was very welcoming and made me feel like being at home. The rooms have nice design touches-- the tile pattern in the bathroom, the archway in the entrance of the room, and the artwork in the room. You can really tell they put a lot of attention into each detail to maximise your comfort! Beds are comfortable, walls are quite sound proof and wifi is fast. Great value for the quality, I highly recommend this lovely hotel!
