Due to the age of the building and its location in the city of Catania, it is impossible to block out all the noise but in my opinion, the building's character and central location for sightseeing were a good compromise. Kala Rooms, a guest house, is a property located in Palermo. This guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The property is 1.3 km from Palermo Cathedral and 1.7 km from Palazzo dei Normanni. Kala rooms is a fabulous place to stay! It is extremely well priced for such a beautiful room in the perfect location. Right near the main markets and lovely restaurants, a short walk from the Teatro Massimo too. The room was huge, the bathroom was beautiful (huge shower with a seat), and the towels were fluffy and pristine! The hosts left a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge, the AC worked perfectly and we felt safe and secure (double lock, locked complex). The breakfast was across the square at a lovely cafe, the staff there were nice and the pastries were incredible. The kind hosts let us store our bags during the day after check out! We would 100% stay here again when visiting Palermo!
