Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. Everything! Good location near the port with free private parking. Staff were great and surprised us with a room upgrade (thank you!) The best thing, however, was the breakfast - a fantastic assortment of local items to taste, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee/tea made fresh on request.

Luxurious rooms feature balconies with pool and city views.... Hotel is perfectly located on the Main Street just minutes from downtown. Staff were very helpful and provided recommendations. Breakfast was really good with poolside tables. Pool was a great break and enough to relax and catch some sun with a wide range of drinks to choose from the bar.

Una bona sel·lecció en la línia del que és habitual en un esmorzar d'hotel. Inclou alguns productes de la zona que sempre va bé. Una altra cosa remarcable ha estat el canal d'informació que hi ha a dins de l'habitació, integrat en el televisor.

Ideally situated in Heraklio Town, Ethereal White Resort Hotel & Spa features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Everything in this hotel is so dreamy that I don't know where to start: the staff are so friendly and they go above and beyond to make you feel like home. The bar tender on the first floor, Sofia welcomed us with a fresh drink and lovely smile. One of the staff, Giannos, even helped us to find restaurants, historical sites and Greek food. The spa experience with Vicky and her lovely colleagues was also amazing, we enjoyed the steam room, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and the massage. Oh my goodness the massage was the highlight of the trip. The breakfast is gorgeous too. The chef, Gannis is there to personalize your omelette and pancakes. He offers such great and beautiful food for breakfast that I was not even sure if this is decoration or I'm allowed to eat it. The rooms are huge, beautiful and perfectly clean and extremely equipped in a way that you'd feel you stepped into a white castle. And last but not the least, the girls in the reception, I just remember one of the names(Christina) they speak every language, they help you with nice smile. They truly made this trip memorable for us.

Només ens hi hem estat una nit, però ha set suficient com per veure que és un magnífic apartament. Està totalment amoblat amb molt bon gust, cuidant tots els detalls. És molt cèntric, amb dos minuts et plantes al mig de Heraklion. A més a més, la propietària va ser molt amable al deixar-nos entrar abans d'hora a poder deixar les maletes. Clarament un 10.

We want to thank the staff for the executive suite we received, there is an extraordinary view of the Venetian Port with a huge terrace. The same staff was very helpful in solving small issues that could have ruined our trip (in the evening, when almost all auto garages close, we needed one to solve a flat tyre).

We liked everything and enjoyed our stay. There are many restaurants and snack bars. The food is amazing. Everyday there was a variety of food. Many pools. The water park is awesome for the kids and the adults. There are animation shows in the evenings. Beautiful facilities.

It is by far the best resort I have ever visited. The employees are providing a fantastic service from the cleaning staff that keeps the resort spotless, to the lifeguards that keep the water park safe for all the customers and the front desk staff delivered great service throughout our stay The Stella resort’s Facilities are exceptional. And It’s location is great (by the beach and about 25 min from the airport). The water park is very fun, there are slides for all age groups and enough to keep the family entertained several days. Last but not least, the food provided is very good. The staff offers new options on a daily basis from grilled fresh fish to traditional Cretan dishes. We always found something great to eat and never felt bored. And we had a wonderful time at their new restaurant the Almyra (à la carte) with a great service and great selection of wines. All in all, our family had a fantastic vacation at the Stella Palace.
