The room is great, spotless every single day, terrace for breakfast brilliant. Quiet surrounding, close to everything. You fall asleep listening to the sea and you wake up with it. Isidoros is amazing host, making the best americano:))! He truly cares, he is there to recommend all the best places to eat, see and go or maybe share a bit of his story. Α charming hotel in Patmos Island with a total of 18 rooms, nestled only 30 metres away from Grikos bay, one of the world’s most beautiful bays. Family run, traditional local style decoration, cozy hotel. The lovely owners are very welcoming, friendly, generous and will get out of their way to be of any assistance. Delicious, plentiful buffet breakfast with homemade products on the roof top balcony terrace with a beautiful view of the sea and Grikos bay. Room nicely decorated, comfortable bed, plus little balcony with partial sea view. Very good location of hotel, in the peaceful and charming fishing village of Grikos, half way between the lively port town of Skala and the main hill town of Hora with the famous fortress Monastry. Special thanks: A good example of the helpful and kind nature of the owners is when I realised whilst on the boat back to Samos that I had forgotten one of my bags at the hotel with all my ID papers which I needed for my flight the next day from Samos to Athens. In a very efficient manner they took all necessary action and procedures and managed to send it via courrier package on the next boat; I was able to receive it later the same evening, thus enabling me to take my flight as scheduled! Very grateful and thankful. Look forward to coming back.

Alexandros Hotel er staðsett í Grikos og státar af stórkostlegu sjávarútsýni. Sjórinn er í aðeins 30 metra fjarlægð. Agios Ioannis Theologos-kirkjan er 1,5 km frá hótelinu. Breakfast was great, served by the proprietors. Location was great, plenty of restaurants right along the beach. Only a €7 taxi fare to the main town and harbour Skala. Not much further to St John’s cave etc.

Porto Scoutari Romantic Hotel er staðsett fyrir ofan Meloi-sandströndina og býður upp á hjartalaga sundlaug og heitan pott. Frá svölum glæsilegu gistirýmanna er víðáttumikið útsýni yfir Eyjahaf. Is a family own place by a lovely lady. Great service. Very friendly. Close to the port. Well situated calm and nice view of the bay. We enjoyed it a lot.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in and I’ve been to many locations. This is a small property of 11 rooms. Extremely clean and well maintained. Petra and Kosta are the owners and attentive. Sotiris is a manager and also very attentive and polite. The staff at breakfast were two of the nicest women. The property is maintained constantly, even with small paint touchups. The rooms were spotless and I am very picky. The views of Grikos and the water each day are beautiful. The pool has towels and lounge chairs. Their are even wireless buzzers on the pool tables in case you want to order a drink or snack. So much detail and thought has been put into this property. Breakfast was different each day. Lovely choices and freshly made food. You sit at the top eating breakfast overlooking the water. Sun shades to keep out the sun.

Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!
